A perfectly located holiday cottage in the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales catering for a family group of up to five. 'Green Cottage' is a traditional Welsh 2 bedroom stone cottage located 5 miles from the City of Bangor, 500 feet above sea level in the Ogwen Valley. The mountain views are unrivalled anywhere in Wales and yet the cottage is only 2 miles away from the A55 coastal corridor. The city of Chester is just one hour by road. There isn't a property within the National Park boundaries that matches this level of access to both the island of Anglesey with its stunning beaches and still be part of the highest mountain range in England and Wales.

 

This is wild unspoiled Wales and with the exception of the local bakery little has changed since ancient times. A steep mountain stream runs under a small bridge on the lane that connects the cottage to the road network. A small convenience store is a short stroll away and a local pub 'The Royal Oak' 5 minutes on foot. There is one small farm, a church and just 4 more cottages in close proximity with the remainder towering mountains, open fields and marshland for miles around.

 

Green Cottage is pet friendly accommodation. With 42 blue flag Welsh beaches and a mountain range as extensive as this region of the UK we can't visualise a better place to excercise a well behaved family pet.
